As a QA Engineer at BMC, you will be part of a Quality Engineering team tasked with working on complex and distributed software systems. Your responsibilities will include developing test plans, executing tests, creating automation solutions, and ensuring product quality. By collaborating with various teams, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards for our products. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Experience in testing, with academic background also considered - Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies - Proficiency in working with complex distributed systems - Familiarity with technologies such as K8S, Dockers, various databases, Kafka, APIs, and DataDog - Strong test-oriented mindset with attention to detail - Ability to work well within a team, proactively solve problems, and communicate effectively While the following skills are advantageous, our team is dedicated to helping you develop them: - Test Automation experience, including scripting skills like Robot Framework and Python - Proficiency in performance testing frameworks such as JMeter - Understanding of Agile methodology - Familiarity with Jenkins CI At BMC, we prioritize our people, and our global workforce of over 6000 individuals works collaboratively to drive success.
