Job Description
Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and certify applications that support data analysis. In collaboration with the team, you will ensure data is accessible, reliable, and well-structured. You have knowledge of services provided by major cloud providers and can manage implementations using those services.
Requirements
- Knowledge of business processes in at least one of the following areas: CRM / Billing / Metering / Credit Management
- Practical knowledge of Python language in creating work Notebooks
- Use of libraries like Pandas, Polar, and Spark for data management
- Practical use of Spark SQL
- Development of ETL/ELT flows using solutions like Auto Loader, Copy Into, Databricks DLT
- Practical experience with Databricks including:
- Unity Catalog knowledge and experience
- Application of data governance patterns via Unity Catalog
- Experience with Medallion data architectures
- Workflow Job-based solutions
- Git-based development
- Monitoring and performance management
- Knowledge and practical use of DELTA Table and DELTA Sharing
- Experience with BI reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, etc.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as Generative AI, LLM processing, Databricks DBRX, Statistical & ML models
- Teamwork skills
- Collaboration with other teams to meet business requirements
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good spoken and written English
- 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data-centric applications
- Preferred: Azure Fundamentals certification
- Preferred: Knowledge of Azure Log Insight and metric/trace analysis tools
- Preferred: Azure Data Engineer certification
- Preferred: Skills in Azure DevOps and GIT project management
- English certification >= B2
