Job Description
- Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents.
- Design and execute manual test cases for web, desktop, or mobile applications based on functional requirements.
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.
- Conduct Database Testing including data validation, data verification, and writing basic SQL queries to verify backend functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using test/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Report and communicate test results, defect status, and risks to the project team.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and QA best practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Solid experience in Functional Testing and preparing effective test cases and scenarios.
- Good knowledge of SQL for performing Database Testing.
- Experience working with test management and bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, etc.
- Ability to identify edge cases, think from a user's perspective, and perform exploratory testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
