Job Description
- As a Software QA Engineer based in Baner, Pune, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through both manual testing and automation. Your working hours will be from 11 AM to 8 PM in a flexible hybrid work environment, with the option to work from the office once or twice a week. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding existing automation frameworks, developing test scripts, and executing tests in an Agile and DevOps environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure defects related to business requirements are addressed promptly and effectively. To excel in this role, you must have strong experience in QA test automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver and Request/Rest Assured, with proficiency in Python programming. Additionally, you should be well-versed in manual testing on maintenance and support projects and have knowledge of automation frameworks like BDD (Gherkin and Behave/Cucumber) and Pytest. Experience in writing database queries, familiarity with DevOps concepts, and proficiency in performance testing tools like Jmeter, Loadrunner, or Gatling are also essential for this role. You should be comfortable working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and possess key competencies like problem-solving, analytical thinking, collaboration, and accountability.
