Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Web QA/BA Analyst and Automation Tester with a strong background in manual and automated testing within the financial domain. This role involves quality assurance for web and mobile applications, gathering business requirements, designing robust test strategies, and ensuring product quality through a combination of manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and maintain business requirements for new features and change requests.
Design and execute manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
Conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure application stability and performance.
Leverage tools like BrowserStack for mobile app testing and cross-platform compatibility.
Perform root cause analysis of complex bugs and document reproducible steps clearly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet QA objectives and ensure alignment with release goals.
Write effective and maintainable test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Cypress (TypeScript), Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python), and relevant test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Jasmine, etc.).
Validate data integrity by writing and executing complex SQL queries.
Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives (a plus).
Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Communicate test strategies, plans, and issues clearly in both oral and written form.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
Domain expertise in financial services with working knowledge of core banking systems.
Strong experience in Web and Mobile App testing.
Experience with mobile testing tools such as BrowserStack.
Proficiency in one or more automation technologies:
Cypress with TypeScript
Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages
Knowledge of test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Jasmine.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and ability to validate end-to-end business scenarios.
Experience creating and maintaining scalable, reusable, and resilient test cases.
Familiarity with security and performance testing (a plus).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reproducing and documenting issues.
Effective communicator with experience collaborating across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to performance testing tools and techniques.
Understanding of secure coding/testing practices in financial software.
