Job Description

Dear Candidate,

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python (Django) and experience building scalable, distributed systems using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Redis and AWS messaging services like SNS/SQS.

You will play a key role in designing and developing core backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components that power our applications and support millions of users.

Location: Hyderabad

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure APIs (REST & GraphQL) using Django and Django REST Framework.
  
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions.
  
• Integrate and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery and Redis.
  
• Implement event-driven communication using AWS SNS/SQS.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure scalable deployment on AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.).
  
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
  
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations.
  
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define and implement new features.
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Django.
  
• Strong knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF).
  
• Experience with GraphQL (e.g., Graphene-Django).
  
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and inter-service communication.
  
• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and as a message broker.
  
• Proficiency with AWS services, especially SNS, SQS, EC2, RDS, S3.
  
• Experience with Celery for task queue management.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
