Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Overall 7+ years of solid, diverse work experience in the software industry
- Responsible for server-side component designing, detailed technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- Collaborate with the customers to understand their product goal and partner with them to translate it to reality with shared vision.
- Working on high/low-level product designs & roadmaps along with rest of the development team.
- Building products and applications using technologies on Open source Java tech stack, SpringBoot, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Cassandra etc
- Understand business requirements ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects
- Contribute in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle. Take responsibility for delivery from the technical side.
- Mentor team & provide technical guidance and solutions to the problems at their hand. Review the work done by the team.
- Lead team & be able to delegate responsibilities.
- Help us to grow by contributing in Hiring, Presales activities & knowledge sharing.
- Be a SPOC to client from backend technologies front for the respective projects. Challenge the status quo by best in class recommendations from a tech perspective. Consult clients & provide technical solutions to the problems at hand.
- Help Project Manager by contributing in estimations, roadmap planning, release planning etc.
- B.E/B.Tech/MCA with 5 to 10 years of experience in Java, Spring tech stack ecosystem.
- Experience in end-to-end application development.
- Experience of development & delivery using Agile methodologies like Scrum or Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Should be able to define technical architecture, hands-on coder, maintaining standards, and other team policies
- Experience in leading a team of at least 3 people
- Experience in frameworks like Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate etc
- Experience in development of microservices based applications & REST APIs.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and build tools (Maven, Jenkins, Gradle)
- Experience in writing UTCs and conducting code reviews.
- Good knowledge of Design Patterns
- Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the Java/JEE space and using them
- Good experience with databases like MySQL or Oracle or any NoSQL like MongoDB
- Know how around integration patterns for queuing, caching, etc.
- Experience in cloud computing or Linux would be a plus
- Problem solving & logical thinking.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Self driven & mentor for the team.
- Comfortable to contribute both as a team lead as well as an individual
