Snowflake Developer @ Fint Solutions

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Optimize performance of Snowflake data models and queries.
• Implement data warehouse solutions and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects such as tables, views, schemas, stages, and file formats.
• Monitor and manage Snowflake compute resources and storage usage.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all layers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Snowflake best practices.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
• Proficient in data modeling and warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization, etc.).
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or custom scripts).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of data governance and data security best practices.
