Job Description
Position: Applications Engineer II Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced BizTalk Azure Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server and Azure Integration Services . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware and cloud-based integrations, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture.
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop integration solutions using BizTalk Server (Maps, Orchestrations, Pipelines, Schemas).
- Develop and maintain Azure Integration Services components such as:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Service Bus
- API Management
- Event Grid / Event Hub
- Migrate BizTalk on-prem solutions to Azure-based integration.
- Implement EDI, B2B integrations, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and error handling in integration flows.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver integration solutions aligned with business needs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledgebase articles.
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers if needed.
What we are looking for :
- 6 to 10 years of experience in integration development with BizTalk Server .
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus).
- Experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, WCF, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Good understanding of cloud-native architecture , message patterns, and microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Proficiency in C# , .NET Framework/.NET Core , and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
- Solid debugging and performance tuning skills for complex integration flows.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with BizTalk to Azure migration projects.
- Knowledge of enterprise messaging patterns and event-driven architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
