Job Description
Profile SummaryA highly skilled Senior Product Control IT Business Analyst with advanced expertise in SQL, Python, and Power BI (nice to have), this candidate brings a strong background in data analysis and technology within leading investment banking environments
They are adept at supporting Risk (advantage) and Finance teams, excelling in both run-the-bank (RTB) operations and project-based initiatives, including the upcoming consolidation of product control reporting across multiple entities to a new solution
With experience spanning all asset classes, they demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, regularly engaging with cross-functional teams and leading meetings, workshops, and training sessions
Their ability to deliver robust control frameworks, process improvements, and accurate, timely reporting positions them as a key contributor to operational excellence and regulatory compliance in dynamic, high-performance settings, Main Responsibilities
Support daily RTB activities for Product Control IT, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting for Risk and Finance functions, Lead and participate in project work, including the consolidation of reporting solutions across three entities, Work with the development team to create and maintain advanced SQL queries, business logic and Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, IT to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive process improvements, Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer among teams, Contribute to the onboarding of new products, regulatory change initiatives, and automation projects as required, Key Requirements
Proven experience in investment banking, with a focus on Product Control, or Finance IT, Advanced proficiency in SQL
Python, and Power BI an advantage for data analysis and reporting, Strong understanding of financial products and control frameworks across any asset class, Demonstrated ability to manage RTB operations and deliver on project-based assignments, Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, including experience leading meetings and workshops, Experience with process improvement, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment, Nice to Have
Experience with automation projects, Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, Other Details
