Job Description
Job Profile: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The QA Lead will play crucial role in leading the QA team, defining testing standards, and driving best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
What we are looking for in you - Lead the QA team in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy that encompasses all aspects of the product, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that quality is considered at all stages.
- Design and implement automation frameworks and scripts to increase testing efficiency
and coverage. - Oversee the selection and implementation of testing tools and technologies.
- Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes and practices to enhance product
quality and team efficiency. - Mentor and develop QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous
improvement. - Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Minimum of 6+ years experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, with a proven track record of implementing successful testing strategies.
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and their impact on
the QA process. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and
tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention
to detail. - Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to motivate and
guide team members towards achieving quality objectives. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
collaborate with cross-functional teams.
