Primary Job Responsibility/ Expected Key Deliverables: -
As the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, you will be responsible for providing
expert guidance and support to clients in the implementation, configuration, and
optimization of the SAP SuccessFactors EC module. You will collaborate with clients to
understand their EC needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration:
Lead/participate in full lifecycle SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
implementations, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing,
and go-live.
Configure core Employee Central modules such as Job Information,
Personal Information, Compensation Information, Global Assignment,
Concurrent Employment, Time Off, etc.
Design and configure Foundation Objects, MDF objects, Rules,
Workflows, and Business Rules.
Develop and configure custom fields, picklists, and data models to meet
specific business needs.
(ECC/S/4HANA) using tools like SAP Cloud Platform Integration
(CPI)/HCI.
Understand common integration points with other SuccessFactors
modules (e.g., Compensation, Performance & Goals, Recruitment).
Data Migration:
Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy HR systems to
SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Utilize tools like MDF Import, Employee Central Import, etc.
Testing & Support:
Develop and execute test scripts, support user acceptance testing (UAT),
and manage defect resolution.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous
improvement recommendations.
Assist with release management activities for SuccessFactors quarterly
updates.
Documentation & Training:
Create comprehensive functional and technical documentation (design
documents, configuration guides, test plans).
Develop and deliver training to end-users and HR administrators.
Leadership & Advisory (for Senior/Lead roles):
Act as a trusted advisor to clients/internal stakeholders on
SuccessFactors best practices and strategic roadmap.
Lead workshops, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus among
diverse stakeholders.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing
initiatives.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
SAP Certified Application Associate - SuccessFactors Employee Central
certification is highly preferred.
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for integrating Employee
Central with other systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Payroll).
Familiarity with other SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Recruiting,
Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Goals).
Experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) integration.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Experience in a consulting environment.
Mandatory Education, Skills & Certifications Required: -
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business
Administration, or related field.
6+ years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementation and consulting roles,
with a focus on EC module.
Strong understanding of EC processes, as well as experience working with SAP
SuccessFactors in other modules.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP SuccessFactors EC module to meet
client requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements
and recommend appropriate solutions.
Should have EC success factors certification.
