Associate Manager Data Engineering @ DXC Technology

Job Description

• Administer and maintain the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.
• Configure Collibra assets, domains, communities, roles, and workflows in alignment with governance models.
• Manage user access and permissions based on business and security requirements.
• Monitor platform health and perform regular audits, upgrades, and patch installations.
• Collaborate with IT and data architecture teams for infrastructure support and enhancements.

• Design and manage metadata ingestion pipelines using tools like Collibra Connect, DGC APIs, or Informatica, Talend, etc.
• Integrate metadata from diverse data sources (e. g. , databases, data lakes, ETL tools, BI tools).
• Ensure consistent data cataloging by aligning metadata ingestion to business glossaries and data dictionaries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ingestion errors or mismatches in metadata mapping.
• Maintain lineage and classification metadata to enhance data discoverability and governance.

• Partner with data stewards, analysts, and business users to support data governance and catalog adoption.
• Provide training, documentation, and support for users on Collibra functionalities.
• Assist with workflow development and lifecycle management for business terms, policies, and data assets.
• Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data governance strategy.
