What you'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or equivalent)
- Manage code repositories and branching strategies using Git
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of system operations and deployments
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and platform teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines
- Own deployment and release management activities for our Salesforce applications (including SOX/Audit controls).
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to users, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation on our Ci/CD pipeline.
Requirements
- bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git and GitHub Actions (or similar CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Zsh, or similar) and Experience in Python scripting for automation and tooling
- Experience with Docker and container-based workflows
- Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices and DevOps principles
- Familiarity with Salesforce Admin tasks, metadata deployment, and environment configuration is a plus.
- Experience with creating deployment packages ,resolving merge conflicts & fixing deployment errors.
- Understanding of Salesforce Metadata API and Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
