- Design and engineer hydraulic valve systems for industrial and power plant steam turbines (LP/HP/IP).
- Perform valve sizing, material selection, and pressure drop calculations to meet system requirements.
- Develop valve control logic and interface requirements for turbine hydraulic power units (HPUs).
- Support the integration of valves into mechanical and control systems (servo-controlled, modulated, trip-based).
- Work closely with suppliers to define specifications, review designs, and validate test results.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations of valve and hydraulic system issues in fielded units.
- Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities globally, both remotely and on-site when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Controls Engineering, Instrumentation, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Ensure valve design complies with international standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and customer-specific specs.
- Develop and maintain documentation including engineering drawings, BOMs, valve datasheets, and test procedures.
- Knowledge of Combine Cycle Power Plants systems (Main, reheat, admission and extraction), oil systems (Lube, Seal and hydraulic), etc.
- Experience in visual interpretation of field drawings with engineering drawing.
- Basic experience in instruments function, electrical systems, and its interfaces to the mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management process (CO/CA) for Releasing Drawing/BOM in PLM such as ENOVIA.
- Good knowledge on mechanical concepts like thermal engineering and fluid mechanics.
- Tools experience: AutoCAD, NX, Enovia PLM or similar
