We are currently seeking applications for the position of Consultant, Java Support. As a Consultant, your primary responsibility will involve supporting and enhancing web applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting and troubleshooting Java applications to resolve technical issues for various stakeholders - Creating, scheduling, and monitoring jobs, as well as troubleshooting them - Managing and resolving production incidents, including system outages, job failures, defects, and end-user support - Executing day-to-day operations via ticketing tools and processes - Ensuring that appropriate tools are updated in compliance with SLA specifications - Testing application features and understanding testing tools The role may require flexibility to work in morning, afternoon, evening, or night shifts on a rotational basis due to collaboration with global teams across different time zones. Qualifications we are looking for include: Minimum Qualifications/Skills: - B.E./B. Tech/MCA or equivalent Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Experience in Core Java, J2EE, and AWS - Strong understanding of relational database concepts - Experience with frameworks like Spring, Struts, etc. - Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, Maven, GIT, HTML, JSP, CSS, and JavaScript - Strong communication skills and customer focus - Ability to work in shifts on a rotation basis - Capacity to multitask and willingness to learn new technologies and processes If you are someone who possesses technical understanding, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new tools and processes, we encourage you to apply for this role of Consultant with Genpact.
