Job Description
- You are a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through effective automation testing processes, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members. Your key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar. You will integrate these test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or others. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. It will be your duty to identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. You will also perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, API, and performance testing as required. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure adequate test coverage is crucial. You will be expected to improve test automation frameworks and suggest best practices for quality assurance. Participation in code reviews for test scripts and providing insights will be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing. Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc., and API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured is required. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# is essential. A solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, and exposure to CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes are also expected.,
