Senior Testing Analyst @ Cognizant

Job Description

You are a Sr Analyst with 5 to 7 years of experience, joining a dynamic team. Your role involves ensuring software quality and reliability through rigorous testing and documentation. Responsibilities: - Lead testing efforts for various software projects to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Oversee creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for all testing activities. - Provide expertise in System Testing, validating software functionality and performance. - Conduct FTPC Val & Automated testing to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Utilize Tricentis Tosca to design, execute, and manage automated test cases. - Implement TOSCA best practices for enhanced automated testing effectiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop testing strategies. - Identify and document defects, working with development teams for prompt resolution. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing. - Monitor and report testing progress, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. - Support adoption of new testing tools and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends. - Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on testing techniques and best practices. Qualifications: - Possess a strong background in Testing & Documentation with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Demonstrate expertise in System Testing and FTPC Val & Automated testing. - Have hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca and TOSCA. - Show proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive testing documentation. - Exhibit knowledge of COTS Products (LS R&D) and Research and Development is a plus. - Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing.
