As an AOI Process Engineer specializing in SAKI, VISCOM, and MEK machines, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Automated Optical Inspection systems. Your role will involve programming, maintaining, and improving AOI processes to ensure high-quality defect detection, compliance with industry standards, and efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: - AOI Programming and Setup: Develop, optimize, and validate inspection programs for SAKI, VISCOM, and MEK AOI systems. Set inspection parameters and defect libraries to meet quality requirements. Perform first article inspections (FAI) to ensure program accuracy. - Process Optimization: Analyze inspection results to enhance defect detection rates. Collaborate with various teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and process issues on AOI systems. Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability. Coordinate with vendors for technical support. - Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure AOI processes align with customer requirements and industry standards. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions. Support audits by providing quality data documentation. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of programs, configurations, and inspection results. Generate reports on defect trends and system performance. Document maintenance activities for traceability. - Training and Collaboration: Train operators on machine operation and troubleshoot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Qualifications And Skills: - Required: Technical degree in Electronics & Communication or Electrical engineering with 4 years of experience. Hands-on experience with SAKI, VISCOM, and MEK AOI systems. Proficiency in programming and knowledge of industry standards. - Preferred: Experience with SPI and x-ray inspection systems, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, MES, and ERP systems. Soft Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Attention to detail and quality commitment. - Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Work Environment: - Manufacturing floor with exposure to SMT processes and AOI equipment. - Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting. - Shift work or overtime may be required.
