Senior Automation Engineer with Python @ Vercal India

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer proficient in Python, Selenium, and Linux to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure efficient and reliable software testing processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium, creating and executing automated test scripts, integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting and debugging automation issues across various environments, and utilizing Linux for scripting, deployment, and troubleshooting in testing environments. It is essential to stay updated with industry best practices and emerging automation tools to ensure continuous improvement in our testing procedures. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in automation testing, possess strong programming skills in Python, demonstrate extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation, exhibit proficiency in Linux commands and scripting, showcase experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar, have knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and show familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must for this position.
