Job Description
- As an intern at Monkhub, your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting various aspects of the software delivery process. You will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will learn and contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Your role will involve supporting the deployment and management of cloud-based resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will also be tasked with setting up and managing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Furthermore, you will gain exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure system configurations are effectively managed for environment consistency. You will learn to build and manage Docker containers and understand container orchestration using platforms like Kubernetes or similar technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you work together to understand system requirements, resolve issues, and maintain high system availability. You will utilize Git for source code management and learn standard Git workflows to support the development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or be in the final year of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A basic understanding of DevOps principles and cloud technologies is required. Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python or Bash, familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, and knowledge of version control systems like Git are also necessary. Your eagerness to learn tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, will contribute to your success in this dynamic environment at Monkhub.
