Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Neuropsychology & Neurosciences. The ideal candidates should hold a Master's Degree in Neurosciences, Lifesciences, Physiology, Zoology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, Biotechnology, or Psychology, along with a Ph.D. in the relevant field. Applicants must demonstrate independent research competence through a strong publication record in reputable journals like WoS/Scopus. Desirable qualifications include post-doctoral experience, teaching background, supervisory skills for research students, and independent project management. Candidates with research grants that can be transitioned to AMITY will be given additional credit. Responsibilities for the role include delivering regular classroom lectures to undergraduate and post-graduate students, overseeing research activities, and guiding Ph.D. scholars. The selected candidate should possess the ability to secure external research funding and foster collaborative research ventures with mutual benefits. The available positions focus on various core and allied research areas within Neuropsychology & Neurosciences, such as Neurophysiology, Neuroanatomy, Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology, Neuro-Cognitive/Behavioral Biology, Neurochemistry, Computational Neurobiology, Neuroendocrinology, Evolutionary/Socio Neurobiology, and Neurogenetics/Disease Neurobiology.
