Software Tester - Manual & Postman Api @ Placement Whizzles

Job Description

You are a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in API testing. Your role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. You will be responsible for API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger, collaborating with developers and product teams to understand requirements, and effectively reporting bugs. Your expertise in manual testing across web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android) will ensure quality benchmarks are met before product release. Additionally, you will participate in test planning, effort estimation, and strategy discussions. Your required skills and experience include a strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP), the ability to write clear and concise test cases and test scenarios, and exposure to web and mobile application testing. You should have a solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodology, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role. It would be beneficial if you have experience with tools like Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or browser developer tools, knowledge of basic SQL for data validation, and previous experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.,
