Java/j2ee Production Support Engineer Contract (immediate Joiners) @ VN2 Solutions

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor and support Java/J2EE applications in production environments
  
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within SLA
  
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve issues
  
• Handle batch failures, performance issues, and production outages
  
• Analyze logs and prepare incident and RCA reports
  
• Handle change requests, deployments, and environment upgrades

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE application architecture
  
• Experience in handling production support in a 24x7 or shift-based model
  
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.)
  
• Proficient in Linux/Unix commands and SQL queries
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Prior experience in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is a plus
