Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud services.
- Configure Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies.
- Implement VPC security, firewall rules, and private networking best practices.
- Secure GCP workloads (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine).
- Implement and monitor security controls via Google Security Command Center (SCC).
- Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis.
- Respond to and manage cloud security incidents.
- Automate security operations using tools like Cloud Functions, Terraform, and Deployment Manager.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security (preferably in GCP).
- GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
- Strong understanding of GCP services: IAM, VPC, Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor, SCC, Chronicle, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD integration.
- Knowledge of encryption, data protection, and key management in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
