Job Description

    Job Title: Rider Recruiter (Blue Collar Recruiter)

    Department: Human Capital / Recruitment Location: Delivery Zone HQ, Abu Dhabi (with field work across UAE)

    Reports To: HR Supervisor

     Job Purpose:

    The Rider Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and onboarding qualified bike riders for Delivery Zone, with a primary focus on candidates already residing within the UAE.  This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring strong networks in the delivery industry and proven experience in high-volume blue-collar recruitment.

     Key Responsibilities:

    1. Sourcing & Networking

    Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract bike riders already in the UAE, leveraging direct outreach, referrals, job boards, social media, and field recruitment.

    Build strong networks with driving schools, delivery companies, labour supply agencies, and relevant community groups to create a continuous pipeline of candidates.

    Identify and target riders with valid UAE bike licenses and those seeking transfer opportunities from other companies.

    Identify and target riders who are working or about to leave their collapsing delivery companies.

    2. Recruitment Process Management

    Conduct initial screening and assessments to verify candidate suitability (license validity, experience, communication skills, attitude).

    Arrange and conduct interviews, both individually and in groups, assessing motivation and fit for the Delivery Zone culture.

    Maintain detailed records of all candidates, interview outcomes, and status updates.

    3. UAE Riders Recruitment Focus

    Liaise with Operations and Fleet for urgent requirements, ensuring riders are ready and available as per business needs.

    Provide ongoing updates to management on recruitment progress and market trends.

     4. Overseas Recruitment & Onboarding

    When required, manage recruitment from outside the UAE, including coordination with overseas agents, driving schools, and travel/accommodation arrangements.

    Oversee the visa application and onboarding process for overseas hires, ensuring smooth transition and support upon arrival.

    5. if Required, Onboarding & Induction

    If required, Coordinate with HR and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding: medical tests, visa stamping, Emirates ID, training, and uniform/equipment distribution.

    6. Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement

    Act as the main point of contact between candidates and the company, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

    Continuously review and improve the recruitment process to minimize time-to-hire and optimize candidate quality.

     Skills & Experience Required:

    Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, on any relevant degree, not necessary.

    Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years in blue-collar recruitment, with at least 1 year focused on hiring bike riders for delivery companies in the UAE is preferred.

    Candidate with driving licence is preferred.

    Language: Hindi /Urdu is mandatory. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.

    Proven experience in bulk/mass recruitment.

    Understanding of UAE labor law, visa, and transfer processes for blue-collar staff.

    Hands-on experience working with driving schools, labor supply agencies, and within the delivery/logistics sector.

    Additional / Plus Point: Experience in managing accommodation and onboarding logistics for external candidates (preferably from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Africa, etc.).

    Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for tracking candidates and reporting).

     Core Competencies:

    Recruitment Expertise: Strong understanding of the end-to-end blue-collar recruitment process. Experience hiring bike riders is highly preferred.

    Networking: Ability to leverage personal and professional networks to generate a steady pipeline of candidates.

    Negotiation & Persuasion: Skilled in convincing, negotiating with, and closing candidates.

    Process Management: Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple recruitment cycles at once.

    Communication: Effective in multiple languages (English, Hindi/Urdu; Arabic is an advantage).

    Market Awareness: Updated on trends, challenges, and competitor practices in rider recruitment.

    Resilience & Flexibility: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.

    Teamwork: Work collaboratively with HR, Operations, and Fleet departments.

     Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    * Number of riders recruited per month (local and overseas).

    * Percentage of riders sourced from within the UAE.

    * Time-to-hire and onboarding completion rate.

    * Feedback from operations/fleet on quality and readiness of new riders.

     Reporting Structure:

    Reports to HR Supervisor

    Coordinates closely with Operations, Fleet, and Accounts teams.

     Working Conditions:

    Based in Abu Dhabi; field work across UAE required (Dubai, Sharjah, Northern Emirates).

    Flexible working hours as per business needs, including weekends and evenings during recruitment drives.
