Job Description
- As a Web Developer at Creative Saints, you will be responsible for various aspects of web development. Your role will involve responding to requests for proposals, writing and submitting proposals, developing and managing websites, providing training to clients as needed, and overseeing other staff or interns. The majority of the projects at Creative Saints are centered around the Joomla! Content Management System, with some projects also utilizing HTML/CSS and PHP/MYSQL technologies. You should possess essential skills such as AJAX, ASP, ASP.net, Java, and a good sense of humor. Additionally, bonus skills like Semantic, valid (X)HTML, cross-browser compatible CSS-driven layouts, structured and commented PHP, and relational MySQL for e-commerce, authentication, or content management will be advantageous. Key Requirements: - Ability to handle customer requirements, unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. - Open-mindedness and willingness to adapt opinions based on new information. - Minimum of 6 months of experience in Joomla or PHP programming. - Strong conceptual thinking abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Zend Certifications are a plus. Your tasks will include creating, managing, and maintaining websites, coding in PHP, HTML, and CSS, managing and developing databases, setting up hosting accounts, installing databases and Joomla, troubleshooting, reviewing DiverseCity Tech work, which may constitute up to 55% of your total work. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing and submitting proposals (up to 30% of total work) and operational tasks like writing reports and attending meetings (up to 15% of total work).
