Job Description
- As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead at Digi Valet, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hospitality solutions. You will need to have extensive experience in automation testing, performance testing, Selenium testing, manual testing, API testing, and other relevant methodologies. Apart from technical expertise, we seek someone who embodies strong leadership qualities, including team-building skills, adaptability, leading by example, and self-motivation. Responsibilities: - Leadership and Team Building: - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers. - Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. - Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the QA team. - Adaptability and Problem Solving: - Demonstrate adaptability in handling evolving project requirements. - Quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies. - Proactively identify and address challenges in the QA process. - Lead by Example: - Set high standards for quality and lead the team by example. - Promote a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. - Uphold and reinforce Digi Valet's values and professional standards. - Self-Motivation: - Exhibit a self-driven and proactive approach to QA leadership. - Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion. - Demonstrate a high level of initiative and accountability. - Test Strategy and Planning: - Develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals. - Collaborate with project managers to establish testing timelines and deliverables. - Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability. In addition to the above responsibilities, the QA Lead will be responsible for managing daily scrum meetings, testing estimation, function and regression testing, API testing, automation test case creation and execution, client communication, production support, project status reporting, sprint demo, and delivery. Required Skills: - Exposure to Agile scrum methodologies. - Experience in web and mobile application testing. - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, WebdriverIO, Postman, Apickli, JMeter, SQL, NoSQL databases, AWS, and JIRA. - Understanding of RESTful API types. - End-to-end QA activity experience including test planning, test creation, test execution, defect logging, reports, and different test suites preparation. - Effort estimation experience. - Exposure to various domains like Health Care, E-commerce, Workforce Management, and Education. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of experience in software quality assurance. - Strong experience in automation testing, performance testing, manual testing, API testing, etc. - Proven leadership experience with a focus on team building and mentorship. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - ISTQB or relevant certifications are a plus.
