Job Description
- As a Senior Software Engineer at Kawasaki in Coimbatore, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and testing robot applications specifically for clean room robotics. Your role will involve conducting research and feasibility analysis to meet project requirements efficiently. It is essential to quickly grasp and adapt to Kawasaki's proprietary system and language. Collaboration is key in this role as you will closely work with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure project completion and successful delivery. Troubleshooting and resolving software bugs/issues in collaboration with peers and lead engineers is a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will engage with external customers to understand their software specifications and provide effective solutions. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Robotics, Mechatronics, or ECE. Strong programming skills in C++ and Python are essential, along with a solid understanding of Kinematics, error handling, and Tool frame setup. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with other robotics platforms are advantageous. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary for effective collaboration within the team. Your ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, coupled with a proactive and positive attitude, will contribute to your success in this role.
