Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Experience with Mechanical and Electrical engineering in creating electromechanical layouts, packaging, fixtures and tooling.
• Work with technology development, product engineering, suppliers, manufacturing and quality group.
• Contribute to design, analysis, prototype build, evaluation, and complete bottom up product documentation.
• Create, maintain, and enforce centralized standards, promote reuse and forward-compatibility in design reviews, and be relied upon for expertise in BKM improvement
• With minimum supervision study and recommend solutions for Problem Reports related to Drafting, Mechanical designs, Part obsolescence

Mandatory Skills

• Expert in 3D CAD tools Siemens Unigraphics NX / Creo in part Modelling, Detailing and Assembly. Siemens NX preferred.
• Knowledge on commonly used OEM parts such as fasteners, valves, fittings etc., and their selection criteria
• Good Knowledge on GD&T and perform Tolerance Stack up analysis
• Hands on experience to take mid complex design from concepts through detailing
• Good understanding of PLM concepts. BoM (Bill of Material) structure, Configurations and use of SAP and PLM system softwares
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present design concepts to peers and management in a professional and effective way
