Our Team:

The Engineering team at Whatfix provides end to end engineering throughput that forms part of core platforms and services that drive Whatfix business.

Our team is responsible for creating the Customer Platform and everything around it be it Analytics, Infrastructure or Core Algorithms. The team owns and is responsible for all pieces that we design, build and support end to end for Whatfix product/ business.

As part of the Core Engineering Team @Whatfix, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference by being a part of the development team that builds future-forward products. Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, architect highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant systems for one of the world's fastest-growing startups
- Understand the customer needs; design & implement
- Envision project goals, product architectural solutions with a high focus on detail to ensure successful implementation
- Articulate complex problems communicating viable architecture and design approaches in a clear and concise manner
- Enhance the agile SDLC within the Development Team through new learning, continued growth, and applying industry best practices and processes
- Be responsible for Full-stack engineering
- Occasionally participate in customer demos & provide inputs wherever required
- Keep optimizing & automating mundane tasks

You'll be a core member of the team.

Individual growth is important to us. We schedule time every week to explore an interest or learn something new.

Team members have also used it to do everything from learning new algorithms to playing with the new framework, to exploring what the new analytics layer could be used for.

We also take some time each day to discuss what we're working on, and even pair program to teach each other about parts of the codebase. There's no risk of stagnation in this job, you would still be hands-on after a few years.

Primary Requirement:

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer to help us scale and go deep on our technical capabilities.

- Engineering Degree from an institute of repute, typically with an experience of 8+ years in Coding, development, design and architecture
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, with experience/exposure to front end stack like JavaScript (Angular / React) & HTML, CSS
- Experience in Database Technologies - SQL and/or NoSql (Cassandra / MongoDB)
- Work experience, preferably from internet companies, products or startups
- Proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing. A solid foundation in the principles of computer science is desired.
- Expertise in design, principles and their application
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fast Learner & a Team Player
