Job Summary:
The web content writer will be responsible for creating web content in various formats for a wide range of subjects. We are looking for people with a reasonably good understanding of American English and Grammar and an ability to research, comprehend, and re-purpose information available online into various web content formats.

Job Responsibilities:
Write and edit online marketing content including blog posts, informative articles, eBooks, white papers, case studies, collateral, presentations, and social media updates
Ability to communicate in a clear, easy to understand manner without compromising with basic language and grammar rules
Write content across a variety of writing styles and tones, both formal and informal
Collaborate with managers and various marketing, technical and design teams to ensure production of content is effective and delivered to the market through the appropriate channels
Assist the marketing team for the development of the content roadmap and editorial calendar based on project requirements
Measure and track content being consumed and use those insights to enhance future content roadmap decisions
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals
Excellent online research and comprehension skills to create engaging pieces of content
Good command of contemporary American English and Grammar
Excellent keyboard and word processing skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and prioritize efforts
Strong interest in current media and social media trends
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Open to growing as part of a team ability to take direction and be taught
Experience in working with images and the ability to add a visual appeal to the content will be an added advantage
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
1-3 years experience in Content Writing/Marketing is desirable
Understanding of web content/blog platforms such as WordPress and social channels such as Facebook and Twitter would be an added advantage
