Desired Candidate Profile
Essential skills- Database Testing / ETL Testing
- QA Process, SDLC, STLC, Oracle , SQL , QC etc.
Essential skills:
- Ability to understand functional specifications from the customer perspective and design appropriate acceptance tests.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different levels of stakeholders in application delivery, QA and business groups.
- Thorough understanding of test principles such as unit, smoke, functional (black box/white box), user acceptance and usability testing.
- Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies, preferably agile models
- Experience and working knowledge of tools such as Quality Centre
- Experience in testing ETL loads, stored procedures and databases
- Experience of creating test plans and test cases
- Ability to analyse defects and spot trends
- Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks and provide accurate management reporting.
- Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature time-boxed testing environment
- Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgement of assessing severity of issues.
- Understanding of multi-tiered technology architecture.
- Experience of testing services
Desirable skills
- ISEB certification or equivalent
- Experience as a tester for investment management research systems
- Understanding of automation test principles
- Experience of testing services & SOA and/or knowledge of FIT and tools such as Fitnesse
- Experience in stress, load and performance testing of global and regional applications with ability to define and document performance testing requirements and scenarios
Domain Knowledge : - BFSI Domain .
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
