Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • The Teacher / Assistant Teacher reports to the centre manager
  • The teacher executes the time table and the curriculum for the class
  • The Assistant teacher helps teachers with following reports: Daily Evaluation, Daily Observation, Attendance Register and other daily reporting.
  • The Assistant teacher must ensure safety and hygiene in the class
  • The teacher is the only primary point of contact for the parents other than the CM
  • The Assistant teacher is required to participate in the weekly lesson plan
  • The Teacher needs to update the centre manager about parent interactions, complaints, feedbacks on a regular basis
  • The Teacher / AT needs to read the child s file before the child s date of joining and be updated of the details
  • The Teacher / AT helps in feeding the children till they are independent
  • The Medical administration form is to be filed after the medicine has been administered
  • The Teacher / AT will be involved in the review of the theme of the week
  • The Teacher / AT must attend all the training programmes conducted by the curriculum department
  • The Teacher / AT must meet the centre manager and get the daily report, daily observation, attendance register and evaluation form signed at the end of each day.
  • The Teacher / AT is responsible for putting up the display board in her class every week
  • The Teacher / AT must ensure the child s shoe box, bag hanger, bed linen kit is ready before a new child joins
  • The Teacher / AT must be fully aware of the theme of the week and the content of the activities
  • The Teacher / AT should make sure she gives the asst Teacher / AT ample chance to conduct the curriculum and guide her in every step and give feedback.
  • The Teacher / AT must be willing to step in to any class in case the Teacher / AT of that class is absent or any such similar situations
  • The Teacher / AT should take care of every child in the centre, not her class alone
  • The Teacher / AT should always be pleasant with the children
Qualification and Experience

Qualification: Any degree or Diploma (With Good communication skills)
