Greetings from Standard Chartered !!!

We are currently looking Enterprise Monitoring Engineer - BMC Applications for our Security Technology Services Team based out of Chennai

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for engineering various monitoring solutions, ensuring these meets both customer requirements and comply to internal policies and standards. Whilst part of a bigger team, the candidate would need to be self-sufficient and engage other teams to drive any projects forwards, ensure management are kept informed of any blockers or delays at the appropriate time.

This candidate would be expected to manage the end to end delivery, from capturing high level requirements from our customers, all the way through to handover of the finished solution to our production support team, working closely with other teams throughout to ensure there is a common view of the project.

As well as having a solid technical background, the candidate would need to work closely with internal teams and stakeholders and be able to present technical solutions to others at various levels in the organisation. They would also provide clear documentation and assistance to drive the delivery and adoption of the solutions.

Should have overall minimum of 7+ years of IT experience out of which 3+ years TSCO/TSOM.

Strong skills on BMC Event Management Suite/ TSCO/TSOM

Working knowledge of BMC Event Management Suite/ TSCO/TSOM including integrations to 3rd Party Tools for automation monitoring needs and to provide automated event correlation, validation and escalation.

Provide support for BMC monitoring solutions within the Bank

Problem tracking and escalation

Perform configuration for various monitoring solutions (user administration, console definitions, monitoring metrics and instrumentations, agents, management infrastructure)

Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Create positive relationships with SCB Group Technology partners

Required Skills:

Engineering experience in the following enterprise monitoring tools

o BMC Truesight Operations Manager

o BMC Truesight Capacity Optimizer

o BMC Patrol

Experience in one or more scripting languages (Perl, Windows PowerShell, Unix shell)

System and architecture design

Ability to work flexibly across a range of simultaneous initiatives and as part of a larger team

Integration of BMC solution to other 3rd party with other tools/solutions

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

Experience of engaging with technical teams.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.
