Electrical Design Engineer @ Acculogix software

Job Description

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics branch
• Years of Experience: 2 to 4 years of industrial experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide sustaining engineering support
• Provide immediate and timely resolution to design related production issues (Problem reports Management) encountered during the build process.
• Read, interpret and create electrical schematics, cable drawings, system interconnects and BOMs.
• Interact with Engineering design group/Cross functional teams/Supplier for design changes & update drawings/documentation
• Electrical Component selection and Obsolescence management and Next Higher Assembly BOM updates.

Mandatory Skills:

• Good communication and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Basic working knowledge in any of the following areas - Electrical architecture, design of IO Controllers and Applications, Circuit design for power and control applications
• Components selection, Cable & Interconnect design and circuit theory knowledge
• Proficient in use of any one latest electrical CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD & ZUKEN.
• Proficient with one of the Product Life cycle Management tools (Document Change and release Management)

Desirable Skill:

• Knowledge in Safety standards for Electrical & Electronics systems - NEC, NFPA, UL 508, IEC standard, IPC, SEMI Standard etc.
• Testing & measuring equipment knowledge.
