We have an urgent opening for Desktop / Deskside Support Engineer for Hyderabad Location. Interview will be telephonic / Skype with shortlisted candidates. PFB the detail:-

Job Title- Senior Associate-IT Ops
Job Role-Desktop / Deskside Engineer.
Experience- 3 to 8 Yrs
Job Timing- 24*7
Professional Skill:-
  • Candidates should have at least 3 Yearsor more years of experience supporting Desktops/EUC technical break fix issues.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to correspond efficiently and effectively. This includes both verbally as well as in a written format. Particular emphasis is put upon the ability to produce well written technical documentation

Required Candidate profile

  • Responsible for handling daily technical support activities related to desktops/laptops.
  • V good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware and BIOS.
  • Troubleshooting and installation of desktop/laptop OS - Windows 7 & 10.
  • Interacting with staff on desktop related problems and providing their resolutions.
  • Basic knowledge of ticketing tool to assign, update and close calls in tool.
  • Basic Understanding of LAN network and troubleshooting
  • Basic Knowledge of AD Server, DNS Server, DHCP Server, Proxy Server.
  • V proficient in Microsoft Office latest versions and other component like VISIO.
  • V good in connecting accessories, various sort of cables, mobile syncing issues, Microsoft Outlook configuration and troubleshooting, user profile issues.
  • Basic Microsoft Office 365/Exchange knowledge for mailbox troubleshooting issues.
  • Working with SCCM team for client OS upgrades and liaison with Server team to carry out deskside day to day tasks.
  • Backups and Restores.
  • Anti Virus software issues and working with OEM/SEM's to troubleshoot those.
  • Act as Hands and Feet support for server side outages.
Good to have:-.
  • It is highly desirable that candidates have taken and passed their Microsoft Windows 7/10 OS Certification, Windows 2012/16 Server OS certification would be desirable.
