Technology: Project Manager - Development (Open Source Technologies)
Type of Appointment: Permanent
Designation: Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
Mandatory Skills Required: Technical Skills:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Software development and Project Management.
- Should have at least 3-4 years of experience managing Software development projects.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, web technologies and mobile.
- Java/J2EE/Open Source Technologies like Python/ROR/PHP etc
- Hands on experience on Product Development Life Cycle
- Project Management skills in Requirement Management, Planning, Estimation, Analysis, Team & Customer Management
- Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Greenhopper, Rally or equivalent
Behavioral Skills:
- Able to lead through influence and inspire passion in others
- Excellent communication skills (Spoken and written)
- Master a million details and quality check
- Personal track record of process improvement / re-engineering
- Able to conduct research into project-related issues and products
- Detailed orientated with excellent problem-solving and problem-identifying skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others
Preferred Skills Required: Technical Skills:
- Understanding of DEVOPS (Development Operations), Cloud Computing etc.
- Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications preferred
Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science)
- Master's degree preferred
- Certified Scrum Master Preferred
Role and Responsibilities: - Enhance and Optimize Product Design, Architect applications/solutions
- To lead project delivery and provide techno functional support to project teams for multiple projects.
- Interaction with clients and/ or implementation team,
- Handling multiple client accounts
- Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and monitor them.
Experience level: 8 -12 years
