Full stack-Tech Lead Java : urgent requirement @ CBRE South Asia

Overview of Position:

Developing systems and APIs that are highly scalable, secure and resilient.

Working with engineering teams to provide continuous architecture and design mentorship / leadership and be a source of support that ensures successful product delivery and operational excellence in production.

Actively participating in product release cycle, daily stand up as well as helping team with tactical activities like code review, design optimization etc.

Creating and presenting a technical solution (e.g. POC) for new business requirements, using technology and frameworks that are scalable, long-term viable, and faster time to market

Creating a culture of innovation, in an environment that requires high levels of scalability, security and reliability

Establishing relationships with key architects across technology organizations and collaborate on promoting architectural standard methodologies.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

8+ years of hands on experience in developing application utilizing JAVA and Spring technologies.

Good understand of multithreading patterns.

Strong Knowledge of micro-services implementations.

Strong Knowledge in AWS, containerization using Docker / Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Strong Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis and test-driven development.

Knowledge of responsive web design and technologies.

Working experience on any SQL/No-SQL database preferably PostgreSQL

Ability to quickly grasp and evaluate new ideas and technologies from internal and external sources and match them with appropriate technology and business problems to develop solutions.

Good to have:

Scripting skills in Shell, Python and/or Ruby.

UI development experience with HTML5, CSS3, react.js and/or Angular.
