Job Description
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Manage Product Engineering teams working on developing security features for core pega platform
- Provide design, architecture and direction to the engineering teams that you are responsible for
- Provide technical assistance to advance the capabilities of products and resolve complex issues
- Bring in and foster As a service perspective to the teams and be responsible for all round software development cycle
Who You Are:
- Candidates must have a strong technical and computer science background, come prepared and ready to learn, and explore Pegasystems technology.
- BE/B.Tech or equivalent
- 12+ years of overall experience preferably in a product development company
- Minimum 4+ years experience of managing product development teams
- Strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies
- Strong knowledge of building application security concepts, at least for 3 years
- Good Communication skills.
What You've Accomplished:
- Experience with analysis, design, development and application deployment of large-scale Java-centric enterprise application systems
- Strong knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms, Design Concepts, Core Java including Multithreading, Collections, Exception Handling, Serialization, Generics, Security related specs like OAuth, GDPR, security concepts like Authentication, Authorization, SSO, Access controls etc.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of relevant software engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers)
- Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
- Exposure to SOA / JEE specifications and implementations
- Rich experience of managing Engineering teams in a product development company
- Ability to understand, identify and resolve conflicts as necessary
