Overall 10+ year experience as a Systems/Platform Engineer or (equivalent)

5+ years of relevant experience on DevOps profile.

Thorough understanding of Unix Kernel and Linux implementation for enterprise use.

Expert in system, development platform and cloud environment security and compliance governance.

Ensure a smooth build process by defining branching and merging strategies for CI/CD pipeline

Ability to build the end to end CI/ CD Tool Integration and enhance the pipeline to increase automation and efficiency.

Ability to develop Maven, Ant & Makefile build scripts

Strong experience with DevOps technologies, cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Excellent experience on build and deployment automation.

Expert in any of one infrastructure automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible.)

Develop security strategy plans and roadmaps based on cloud architecting best practices

Deep understanding of cloud services provided by anyone: AWS, Azure, GCP or any other enterprise cloud.

Experience in designing and performing HA/backup/restore, disaster recovery, and scale testing.

Experience in migration of DevOps tools from current to futuristic tool stack

Design and guide in application architecture based on the available capabilities of cloud providers.

Proficient with various other cloud interfaces like AWS CLI, SDK, and API.

Hands on experience with ELK stack or Splunk or any similar tool.

Proficient in writing scripts with (Any Two: Bash, Ruby, Python, Perl, Powershell)

Working experience with CI/CD testing framework and tools.

Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys, Burp Suite, Metasploit or similar tools

In-depth understanding of the software development process & Release Engineering Processes.

Experience working in Agile teams, using Scrum or Kanban

Ability to understand requirements, envision, design, and implement DevOps tools in customer platform

Provides detailed implementation/project plans across multiple, complex work streams according to agreed standards

Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point

Reviews, and updates as appropriate, operations procedures, standards, and technical policies.

Anticipate and research new server and web technologies for use with operational and business continuance

Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases (preferable Ms SQL Server, NoSQL: DynamoDB, ElasticSearch)

Taking new projects POC, Pre & post Sales peaching etc

Work with onshore and offshore teams to coordinate implementation activities

Researches new methodologies to improve security and development practices
