Job Description
Hiring for Business Analyst ( 6 to 8 years Exp) for TEKsystems Global Services , Hyderabad Solution Center
Responsibilities:
a.Acts as a liaison between potential onsite Business Analysts (SMEs), End Users, Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts and to gather, analyze, define and document functional and/or technical requirements for software development projects.
b.Assists in guiding application development and maintenance activities which will help clients meet their business needs.
c.Ability to write and validate test cases to ensure that software meets the quality standards; May assist in the testing of applications. Create process documents, requirements documents.
d.Translates requirements into functional specifications for hand-over to internal and/or external technical teams and subject matter experts.
e.Participate in the preparation of documents such as case studies, request for proposal, data and process flow diagrams, specifications, training materials, user documentation, etc.
f.Participate in project teams to implement software solutions.
g.Use Case workshops; Business Modeling and Design walkthroughs.
h.Identify standards to improve the quality of deliverable and processes pertaining to Business Analysis.
h.minimum 2 years of relevant in Capital markets or Investment banking
Required:
a. 3+ years Business Analyst experience.
b.Creating Business Requirement Documents.
c.Requirement Traceability definition and be able to provide Matrices around the same.
d.Visio. Proficient with Agile, UML and SDLC methodologies with the ability to document requirements using use cases, user stories, high-level requirements, and functional and/or non-functional specifications.
e.Familiar with industry-standard analysis methodologies, but typically has a solid background in the IT industry.
f.Familiarity with web development platforms such as Microsoft .NET and Java.
g.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
h.Has worked in a wide variety of industries (health, financial, manufacturing, ecommerce,) and draws from that experience to mentor others.
i.Atleast one project executed using Agile.
j.Candidate must understand business processes, be a detailed-oriented person and quickly grasp new concepts. Additionally the candidate will have strong presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills.
