Job Description
"Key Responsibilities : - Creates moderate to complex technology solutions to support systems/applications - Develops, tests, debugs, documents, and installs programs - Defines project objectives by analyzing user requirements - Designs and develops moderate to complex user interfaces for .NET applications by analyzing business requirements and priorities and translating them into an effective user experience - Assists with determining design methodologies and tool sets - Completes moderate to complex programming using software development languages and third party software products - Designs and conducts moderate to complex application tests - Participates in integrating .NET applications - Participates in interdepartmental development efforts - Participates in development efforts across multiple applications and departments - Develops .Net applications using community standards and best practices - Performs support and maintenance on .NET applications - Participates in the development of user manuals, user procedures, technical support documentation and operational procedures - Maintains awareness of the latest developments in key areas of responsibility and brings forward opportunities that might benefit the organization - Leverages technology to improve the customer's experience - Maintains a current knowledge of trends and technology through continuing educations, publications, and professional organizations - Performs other duties as assigned Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree - 2-3 years- experience in object oriented development using Microsoft .Net and NET framework - Experience in full life cycle iterative development; requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, implementation and support - Agile experience, building and unit test solution components, resolving code defects - Ability to use C#.NET, VB.NET, and ASP.NET to design application architecture and solution development - Ability to code, test, and support .NET web applications using ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio 2010/12, HTML, CSS, AJAX, ETL, Oracle ESB, JavaScript, and ADO.NET - Experience supporting web applications using SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server Reporting Services - Experience designing and developing complex database queries, writing constraints, creating and managing indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions using T-SQL and PL/SQL in SQL Server 2008/2010, Oracle, DB2 and Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g - B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or information Technology or equivalent In addition, the following are good to have : - Knowledge of VBA/VB 6.0 coding - Any professional exposure to the financial services sector would be a big plus - Ability to lead and participate in mentoring junior resources and lead initiatives within the project - Ability to review code quality Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills Strong communication skills, both written and oral Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables Experience in managing/dealing with clients/stakeholders"Employement Category:
