HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job description:

This candidate is responsible for performing the activities/responsibilities under the Sales Program management Shared service in India supporting all the GEO's sales and sales operations stakeholders. Ideal candidate would be responsible for Opportunity management, Quote creation, case management & Account management. This candidate will closely work with Tanzu Sales Specialists, client's Core Sales reps and collaborate with Pricing, Deal Management, Order Management and other key stakeholders.

This is a multi-functional sales operations role. The ideal candidate may demonstrate experience/knowledge in CRM applications namely SFDC, CPQ etc. This includes, but not limited to, opportunity management creation, account management and data remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on experience on Quote to Cash processes
  • Manage opportunities on SFDC by opportunity creation
  • Partner with Tanzu Sales Specialists & VMW Core Sales reps for Opportunity and Quote creation
  • Review Quote attributes on CPQ or Model N and initiate required pricing approvals
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Deal Management, Order Management, and other key stakeholders for smooth order booking
  • Liaise between Tanzu Sales, Business Managers and VMware DMT for complex deals, clarification, approvals, and contractual T&C on the offerings required from Customer/Channel
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Keeping up to date knowledge with product and service information and updates
  • Demonstrate experience/knowledge in CRM applications namely SFDC, CPQ etc
  • Work on SFDC and resolve queries based on various process workflows & logical thinking
  • Resolve opportunity and quote related attributes (discounts, justification, approvals, workflows)
  • Work on process improvements and standardization in conjunction with the functional leaders
  • Collaborate and provide inputs on processes

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's degree is a must
