DevOps & Cloud Engineer (ITSM)

Key Responsibilities

• Automating the deployment of some of the Service Management applications on our Public Cloud infrastructure (conforming to CI/CD)

• Work closely with our Service Management SaaS vendor, to help integrate various internally hosted applications with Applications hosted on the SaaS platform, using technologies like APIs, WebSockets, Client Gateways, SaaS-to-SaaS connectors etc.

• Design, test, and implement data, application, and API level integrations between Service Management applications and other customer systems.

• Create and modify technical documentation, user guides, and administration guides.

Skills/ Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in the principle responsibilities listed.

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline

• Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly

• AWS experience, especially around automating the deployment of applications on Public Cloud infrastructure (conforming to CI/CD)

• API development experience(Nice to have)

• Any knowledge in the ITSM space(Nice to have)

General:

• Experience in working in the Tier 1 global organisation will be highly regarded

• Experience in independently running support cases for ongoing incidents with product vendor

• Knowledge on ITIL processes and Service Operation models

• Excellent organisation and communication (both written and oral) skills

• Able to work both autonomously and in teams

• Self-starter and good decision-making skills

• Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to fault resolution

• Familiar with DevOps model
