Job Description
A full stack developer who is expert in building scalable applications. The successful candidate is expected to be talented software professional and will be responsible for the success and timely delivery of software components and solutions.
The appropriate candidate will clearly demonstrate his ability to improve Continuous integration and provide process improvement areas.- Candidate will work independently and is highly self-motivated.
- Design, development, testing and implementation of software solutions.
- Scope for influencing design and architecture.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
- Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
- Will work closely with Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
- Work with Product owner and understand all functional and technical requirements of the project.
- Providing second line production support including root cause analysis for the developed software solutions.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in an engineering or computer science field is preferred
- 8+ years of experience as a software development team lead
- Minimum 8-10 year of development experience
- Experience in Core Java (1.6 or higher) and JavaScript
- Spring, spring boot, Hibernate.
- Experience in REST web service development.
- Experience in SQL and understanding of basic principles of data modelling.
- Experience in performance tuning of the application.
- Experience in Banking and Financial Domain
- Experience in Agile frameworks/ projects
- Understanding/Knowledge of JIRA
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and communication skills.
- Candidate should have the ability to work as a partner with multiple stakeholders smoothly against challenging timelines
- Ability to work effectively in cross-organizational situations and be enthusiastic about building quality software products with world-class people, processes and tools.
- Possess highly effective written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Promotes teamwork and maintains effective communication within and across groups.
- Promotes continuous process improvement
- Should be self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership and accountability
- Should able to exhibit Citi leadership standards
