Position: Lead Product Engineer

Opportunity:

Tagit Product Team is looking for passionate, motivated and a self-driven individual with sound knowledge and expertise to design, develop, test, document, deploy & support high quality enterprise web and mobile applications such as digital/ internet banking, online communities, e-commerce solutions, content management systems and portals using Java, J2EE, JSP and Spring, HTML and Java Script. You must be a full stack developer.

What you will be doing:

You will report to the Senior Leadership team in Product Development and be part of SCRUM teams. You will:

Review the functional specifications produced by the Product Management team and estimate the level of effort
Design, develop and test solutions that meet customer/industry requirements and product specifications
Function both as a solid individual contributor and a technical mentor (This role requires you to be a strong developer)
Put in place and maintain development and code quality standards
Coach the team on agile processes and be self-organizing

Working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and high quality project deliverables

What you will bring along:

8+ years' work experience on Java/J2EE
Solid Programming Experience in following technologies
Core Java 8, JSP, Servlets
Design Patterns / Architectural Principles like SOLID, GRASP etc
Frameworks such as Spring
Web Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery
Mark-up Languages such as XML and JSON
Databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL server
Application Server: JBoss, WebLogic or WebSphere
ORM Frameworks: JPA, Hibernate, iBatis
Micro Service Architecture / SOA
REST/ API Management / API Security
Apache Maven , Gradle
Experienced in Banking and Financial domain is a must, preferably in Corporate or Retail Internet Banking.
Experienced in architectural mechanisms that ensures scalability, fast response times and robustness of the functionalities being developed
Experienced in Agile Processes such as SCRUM
Good presentation and communication skills and able to work with global teams
