Job Description Summary:
The Supply Chain Solutions team has an opening for Prinicipal Programmer Analyst at our Gandhinagar location. As an integral part of a Supply Chain Management team for a competitive semiconductor manufacturer, you will help build large scale big data infrastructure to support various supply chain functions. You will leverage your training and creativity to establish robust and scalable data model, as well as supportive ETL logic to collect, process, and present mission critical data. You will take part in various operational initiatives to help achieve top notch supply chain performance for Maxim.Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Help develop and maintain Data Warehouse model to enable operational and strategic supply chain analysis.
- Team up with business owners to define use cases, test plans, and create solution proposal.
- Develop, test and implement solutions. Conduct user acceptance testing and roll out.
- Proactively drive quality improvements and permanent solutions to recurring problems.
- Monitor and track system performance; identify and tune system bottlenecks.
- Maintain documentation of support processes and procedures.
- Effectively communicate status updates to project team.
- Develop, coordinate distribution, and maintain reporting templates
- Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, write formulas to summarize data, translate data into a user-friendly report, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics
- Mentor the NCH`s and other junior support analysts and team members
- Good in communicating and collaborating with various stake holders
Job Requirements:
- At least 10+ years of hands on experience in Oracle and PLSQL development , support and consulting experience.
- People who have handled complex systems and with people management skills preferred.
- Strong RDBMS concepts.
- Must have strong Oracle SQL and PLSQL skills.
- Hands on Oracle SQL and PLSQL performance tuning skills.
- Familiarity with shell scripting, both Unix and Windows.
- D ependable resource for support of production environments and responsibilities.
- Identify automation and process improvement ideas and implement
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to work effectively with business users and cross-functional technical teams.
- B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or other technical degrees required.
