Job Description
Post: Assistant Manager Treasury -NCD /Rupee Bank Loans (1 No.)/ ECB & Foreign Currency Borrowings (1 No.)
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Reporting to: HOD /Sr. V.P. Treasury
Remuneration: As per industry standards
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience: 3 to 5 years, post-qualification
Nature of Experience: - Candidate should have good experience in corporate finance/ treasury in raising funds (either Rupee loans / NCDs, Or International Commercial Borrowings (ECB) in foreign currency);
- Liaisoning, negotiating & dealing with banks and credit rating agencies, independent consulting engineers;
- Legal Documentation & Compliances for draw-down of Bank Loan/ NCD/ ECB facility.
- For ECBs: Should possess good knowledge of & experience in:
o RBI/FEMA/AD Rules and Regulations concerning foreign currency/External Commercial Borrowing (ECB),
o Dealing with Banks/AD/RBI for relevant permission/compliance/reporting requirements, and
o Taking Currency Swaps/Forex Cover for Foreign Currency Risk Hedging
Other Requirements:- Should possess good communication skills.
- Candidates should preferably be from infrastructure companies or private/public sector banks or financial institutions.
Note: There are 2 positions - one for raising Rupee Bank Loans / NCDs, and the other one for ECBs / Foreign currency borrowings.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- a) Coordinate with banks/ group investment banking company involved in facilitating raising:
i. Bank loans/NCDs Rupee Debt (Project finance, Working capital finance)
Or
ii. External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) Foreign currency loans
- b) Organise and facilitate in providing the required data & information flow to banks.
- c) To negotiate matters on company terms.
- d) Review and highlight observations on term sheet in line with the companys requirements.
- e) Resolve the issues having financial implications/compliances related with Banks.
- f) Review, monitor, and optimise interest rate benefits to the company.
- g) Review and close attendant documents on the facility/NCD/ECB
- h) In case of the ECBs:
> Finalise and arrange the currency SWAP on the facility in case of ECB.
> Interact with Bank / AD / RBI to facilitate compliance with the RBI/FEMA rules and regulations; and file the required periodical returns with AD/RBI.
> Monitor report & highlight deviation of covenants w.r.t. facility agreements.
