Automation Testing Engineer For top MNC @ LRR Technologies

For its R&D center in Hyderabad, Otis is looking for a a talented automation testing engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be responsible for leading the SQA effort on major products / releases.
- You will be responsible for creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating and reporting test results.
- You will be responsible for using the latest Microsoft technologies to design and maintain automation for existing and new products.
- You will set up test environments for automation activities.
- You will track test coverage and key metrics.
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes and ensure repeatability.
- You will be a technology champion/mentor, and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective automation.
- You will interact with other departments to gather/understand business requirements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- BS or MS in Computer Science or other engineering degree, or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
- You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience working in an SQA test engineer role on software development projects
- You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in programming with C/C++/C# or Java.
- You should have experience in test automation GUI (HTTP/XML, JAVA, web services) and non-GUI applications (API, databases)
- You should have experience with RDBMS and SQL (SQL Server preferred)
- You should have a minimum of 3 years of test automation experience using at least 1 commercial or open source test tool
- You should have experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Test Manager
- Experience working with distributed teams is a plus.
- You should have experience with iterative development and Agile methodologies.
- You should have experience in working with distributed teams.
- You should have experience in working in a gMP compliant environment.

- You should report supervising conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
- You should attend scheduled EH&S training programs.
- You should actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
- You should recommend improved EH&S practices.
SALARY AND JOINING
The position will pay quite well - Rs. 10-12 lakhs per annum is the band, and the final amount may be even higher depending on your experience and expertise.
